Loggins And Messina Angry Eyes Live
Did the band Lightning with Rocky Athas in 1978 make a Full Album? what is the full album called?
Kenny sounds great.
1001
I saw them in 75 with Billy Swan and Kris K and Rita Coolidge
Jim looks like does tax returns in his spare time
Wonderful 😔
Annex Ft Hood Texas
Give me that bass
Love this song, albums back in the day featured talented musicians all contributing to the song. The flute here reminds me of the great Herbie Mann......
Is that David Gilmour's drummer? It is!!! Steve DiStanislao, the best. And happiest. Watch him with DG Live at Pompeii. He smiles always. This was wonderful!
Young musicians reinterpreting the song is amazing, yet Kenny Loggins and Jim Messina with the vocals , and quitars especially, pretty awesome
I was in 8th grade, I think, Loggins and Missina opened for Cheech and Chong.....with their "Sittin In" album....Wow, every since then! @Hartford, Connecticut / Bushnell Auditorium, don't remember the year. Early 70's
Kudos to Kenny Loggins to representing the best song from the Loggins and Messina album, and Jim Messina, great guitar, and both your vocals are awesome
I'm pushing 80yrs old and these masters make me want to get up and dance.
lol……I do at 65
Haven’t heard this in decades forgot how good it is
It really is recorded well. There are other versions that don't do it justice. It's simple but such a nice groove. The mix for live is better than 90% of studio stuff of the time. That strat is perfect.
Their music is timeless
Thanks you guy 4:59
Now this is music.
I remember hearing this for the first time at Eds lounge. We were playing foosball & it came on the juke box live too. Instant fan.
Has to be Glen Glen sound ..no one else mixes like that.the best in the audio world
This is such a great tune!
Yes
People forget how important Messina was to the overall sound of this great group.
I was just a kid, tagged along with my oldest brother and his then gf in the backseat of his Porsche 924, to Santa Barbara from a suburb about 20 miles East of Los Angeles. Great memory, I was so in love with Kenny...
Would like to see Steve Howe on this.
Those drums are tuned to perfection
Great tune and singing; just an all around very good song and even better live like this video!!
I’m old enough and it’s still awesome.Dynamite album
All the harmonics tricks you heard from Billy Gibbons, Brian May and Eddie Van Halen started with this guy.
From POCO to this two very talented guys
My Sister Yolie turned me On to These Jams,,,❣️❣️❣️R.I.P.
I'll say it over and over: LOGGINS AND MESSINA DESERVE TO BE AND NEED TO BE IN THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME!
should have seen these guys 25 years ago....for want of a time machine..I could show you wonders
Wow! Blown away….
Deep cut
A masterpiece.
Saw them back in college play this song. their backup musicians back in the day were phenomenal. Al Garth, John Clark, Micheal Omartian. The original live version was a very long jam. Just epic.
Only one way to listen to this…… LOUD!!!!!!
Great song, nice...
Haven’t heard this tune in a while. Awesome 👍
Bad
Ann looked great here…I feel so bad for her that she had weight problems all her life.
They're going to be in New Orleans for Jazz Fest and I hope they play everything from their first albums...........
so all of us ole folk missed the real music..?? really?? stop jumping rope and find your groove ( nice back to the time)
Good God! Perfect!
This one got it all...the promises made with Poco were fully delivered with L/M...funky and direct
Still better together, great stuff.
Saw them at Nassau Colisium early 70's with John Sebastian and Fleetwood Mac as the opening acts. Best live performance for me ever.
